ON-ICE VALUE
Top Six-Forward

STRENGTHS
Vision: Radulov is a gifted and creative playmaker who is always thinking one step ahead. His offensive IQ is high-level, and he complements it with great accuracy and touch on both the forehand and backhand. In short, he’ll find the open man. Sometimes, he’ll even pass players open.

Hands: Beyond his passing ability, the winger flashes a superb pair of mitts. He can dance around opponents in open ice just as well as he can undress goaltenders in tight. Instead of relying on the tried and true, Radulov boasts a wide arsenal of clever moves that he can call upon in any situation. He is unpredictable and mesmerizing with the puck.

Strength: In addition to his skill, Radulov is as strong as an ox. He uses every bit of his 6’1”, 205-pound build to fend off defenders and protect the puck. He’s one of the few playmakers who can switch on a power game in order to bulldoze a path to the slot.

WEAKNESSES
Reckless: Of course, his creativity comes with a significant drawback. He isn’t always the best decision-maker, occasionally attempting to feather difficult passes or execute hopeless dekes for no apparent reason. As electrifying as Radulov can be with the puck, he isn’t exactly efficient.

Lazy: His three-zone performance also leaves something to be desired. If he isn’t in close proximity to the action, he tends to go through the motions. He might lose inside position or coast on the backcheck as the opposition enjoys a quality chance. He’s simply not all that interested in the finer details of the game.
