Henrique scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.

Impact

Henrique opened the scoring on a pass from Danton Heinen in the first period. The 31-year-old Henrique shares the Ducks' goal-scoring lead with Maxime Comtois -- both forwards have 11 this year. Henrique has added six helpers, 67 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-9 rating through 36 games. The center has just two goals in his last eight appearances.

Mark Giordano Player Bio

Mark Giordano

ON-ICE VALUE
First-Pairing Defenseman

STRENGTHS
Skating: Giordano is a smooth and powerful skater. He uses this pace well to smother puck-carriers, recover quickly from the odd mistake and support the attack. He’s also patient on the breakout, waiting for his opportunity to claim space and safely drive the action toward the offensive zone.

Defense: With a sturdy 6’1”, 200-pound build, good wheels and a disruptive stick, he has the tools to thrive on the defensive end. He’s very effective at deflecting shots or throwing his body in front of them at the last second. He’s a fearless and competitive defender.

Offensive Instincts: He isn’t a pure puck-moving blueliner, but he still distributes it well via crisp, accurate passes. Moreover, he displays a keen sense of timing, constantly skating into the play at the right time to apply pressure on the opposition. He takes smart shots as well.

WEAKNESSES
Overaggressive: Giordano can get carried away offensively, skating full tilt down the ice or lingering for an extra beat at the blue line instead of retreating to stay on the right side of the puck. Without a stay-at-home partner, his decision-making can look suspect.

Tunnel Vision: In one-on-one scenarios, he’s an excellent defender. He uses his stick and strength well to thwart opponents at the point of attack. But when he can’t lock on to a single target, he struggles to keep up with the play or make the right reads.
